BB Sheba (“the App”, also known as Brahmanbaria E-Sheba) is operated by Aksit Firm. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our mobile application and related services for blood donation coordination, hospital appointments, and community healthcare in Brahmanbaria, Bangladesh.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: name, email, phone number, profile photo, and authentication identifiers (for example Firebase Auth UID).
• Donor / blood data: blood group, donation history, availability status, location (district/upazila), and optional approximate location used to find nearby donors.
• Hospital data: appointment details, hospital profile information you submit when registering or managing a hospital, and related staff roles.
• Messages & requests: in-app blood request chats and related notifications after a match or request is created.
• Device & usage: basic app diagnostics and crash information to keep the service reliable.

2. How we use information

• To create and manage your account and profile.
• To connect blood requesters and donors in a privacy-first way (phone numbers stay hidden until a request is accepted).
• To book and manage hospital appointments and hospital administration features.
• To send service notifications related to requests, chats, and appointments.
• To improve safety, prevent abuse, and support customer help.

3. Privacy-first contact

For blood matching, we design the flow so your phone number is not shown publicly on donor lists. Contact details are shared only after both sides participate in an accepted request flow inside the App.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only:

• With other users as needed for an accepted blood request or appointment workflow.
• With service providers that power the App (for example Google Firebase for authentication, database, storage, and hosting).
• When required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users and the public.

5. Data storage & security

Data is stored using Google Firebase services. We apply access rules and account-based permissions so users only see information appropriate to their role (citizen, donor, hospital staff, or admin). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

6. Your choices

• Update or correct profile information in the App.
• Turn donation availability on or off at any time.
• Control language and appearance (light/dark) preferences on your device.

7. Children’s privacy

The App is intended for adults who can lawfully use healthcare and donation services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
